Desde hace unas semanas se empezó a hablar de este mega evento astronómico que no se vive desde hace 150 años.
Hablamos de mega evento porque en unas horas se estarán coincidiendo 3 eventos en 1, la conocida super luna, un eclipse y otro más bien de extraña rareza conocido como la super luna azul o luna del lobo, que realmente no tiene que ver con que la luna se convierta de color azul literalmente.
La superluna que es el primer evento se produce cuando nuestro satélite se encuentra en su perigeo, esto es el punto más cercano a la Tierra en su órbita; entonces, aparece de mayor tamaño, alrededor de un 7%, y un 14% más brillante que habitualmente.
El segundo evento tiene que ver con que se estará dando una segunda luna llena en el mes de enero y a ese tipo de lunas se las llama luna azul, los agricultores americanos empezaron a llamarla de esa manera blue moon, luna azul, porque para sus ciclos de siembra y cosecha, la luna recibía una designación diferente de acuerdo a la estación y época del año, ésta se designó azul y se da cada 3 años.
Normalmente hay tres lunas llenas en cualquier época del año, cada uno con un nombre, como por ejemplo ‘luna de la fruta’, ‘luna pascual’ o ‘luna de la cosecha’.
Dado que a veces hay 13 lunas en un año, la tercera luna de las cuatro de la temporada se convirtió en la ‘luna azul’, una luna que marcaba una posición, de modo que las otras lunas mantendrían su lugar en un orden estacional. Aquí lo importante es la coincidencia de 3 eventos lunares que es la que se da cada 150 años.
La luna podría verse realmente azul si se produce una erupción volcánica y las partículas de cenizas en el aire dispersan la luz roja, puede verse azul o incluso verde. Esto ocurrió, por ejemplo, en Indonesia en 1883, con la erupción del volcán Krakatoa; también en Estados Unidos en 1980, con la del Monte Santa Helena; y en Filipinas en 1991, con la erupción del Pinatubo.
Y el tercer evento es el primer eclilpse total de luna del año conocida como ‘luna de sangre’ debido a esa aparente coloración que toma cuando la atmósfera de la Tierra filtra la luz azul y verde de los rayos solares, dejando pasar solo la roja.

En ésta ocasión la fase total del eclipse durará una hora y 16 minutos, el parcial durará 3 horas y 21 minutos, y el penumbral (todo el fenómeno en su conjunto) 5 horas y 15 minutos. Los lugares donde todo el fenómeno puede verse sin problema son Asia, Australia, Nueva Zelanda y este de Rusia al igual que Norteamérica sobre todo desde la costa oeste, de Alaska a Hawai.
Debo decir que el de hoy es el eclipse 49 de un ciclo de 74 pertenecientes al Saros 129 y precede o va acompañado de un eclipse de sol que se dará el 15 de febrero de 2018… ya hemos hablado de algunos eclipses y que no es extraño además que todos estos eventos sean usados con fines ritualísticos
Ya les comenté en el video del príncipe William que él nació ritualísticamente durante un eclipse de sol mientras que su esposa Kate Middleton nació igualmente durante un eclipse de luna, así es como suelen nacer muchos de los niños intercambiados que servirán a los fines de la élite para imponer el nuevo orden mundial.
